Hey Everyone,

Congratulations goes to Jeanette after we picked her name at random for our contest. For the record, Jeanette also suggested the following:

Villa di Roma
Cucina Forte
Bomb Bomb BBQ
Pesto
Scannichio's
L'Angolo
Paradiso
Mr. Martino's

But felt that among all of those, the High Note Cafe was here fave.

Thanks!

Hey Everyone,

Jeanette suggests the following restaurant in south philly:

"My favorite Italian restaurant in South Philly is the High Note Cafe. It is a BYOB version of Victor Cafe located at 13th and Tasker right around the corner from the more famous restaurant. Like Victor Cafe, the servers break into song, usually opera, during your meal. They have tremendous voices that often make your heart skip a beat. Unlike Victor Cafe, though, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is more fun and casual, and the food (IMHO) is much better. Many people don't know about this restaurant because it is connected to a pizza shop called Franco & Luigi's and you actually have to enter through the pizza shop to get to the restaurant. I've been there several times (usually with a large group) and have an amazing experience each and every time."

Jeanette will be entered in the upcoming drawing for our copy of Feast of the Seven Fishes
